Palissander wood handle

The color of palissander (or rosewood) varies from light brown to dark brown. This tree comes mainly from Brazil and India. It is known for its density and therefore its robustness.  
The wood also has the distinction of good moisture resistance. Cutlers and woodworkers love it.
